About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides, caregivers, companions, and personal care aides to provide one-on-one support to clients in their private residences throughout the Lehigh Valley and surrounding counties. Working under a plan of care developed by a registered nurse, aides provide services that help clients live safely, comfortably, and independently at home. The role is open to experienced caregivers and people new to home care; training and support are available. BAYADA seeks to match caregivers with clients close to home whenever possible.

• Previous home care, caregiving, personal care, or patient care experience is welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bathing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance.
• Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household support.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist clients with ambulation and transfers.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Provide services independently in clients’ private residences while following a plan of care developed by a registered nurse.
