About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a Home Health Aide (HHA) for its Assistive Care Division to serve patients in Seminole and Orange counties. Following a written plan of care from a registered nurse, the HHA provides personal care, household support, and companionship to help adults remain safe and independent at home. The role involves one-on-one care and building close relationships with clients, with support from a care team, training, and flexible scheduling.

Requirements

HHA certificate of 75 hours or CNA license.
CPR certificate from an in-person class.
One year of work experience in any company or industry.
Current Level 2 background check through AHCA.
Passion for caregiving and desire to help others.
Commitment to being present and providing quality care.
Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
Commitment to providing compassionate, excellent, and reliable patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care, household support, and companion care according to a written plan of care from a registered nurse.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Assist clients with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
Travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
