About The Position
Always Compassionate Health is seeking Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support clients throughout Westchester County and New York City. The role involves providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, along with companionship and other household support. Spanish and English are referenced in the role heading; the qualifications also require English proficiency. Full-time, part-time, live-in, and weekend opportunities are listed, with day, night, and weekend schedules available. The stated pay rate is $19.65–$21.00 per hour.
Requirements
- New York State HHA or PCA certification.
- Passion for caring for adult, elderly, or pediatric clients.
- Strong communication skills.
- English proficiency.
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
- Physical, Quantiferon or two PPDs within one year, and MMR titers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the care plan.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
- Accompany clients to appointments or on walks.
- Prepare meals.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
