About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide to assist elderly clients. The role provides supervision and hands-on support with personal care and daily activities, while helping clients maintain comfort, safety, mobility, and dignity. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Arabic and hold an HHA or CNA certification. Candidates without certification may complete company-provided HHA training and certification.
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic.
- HHA or CNA certification; candidates without certification must complete company-provided HHA training and obtain certification.
- Empathy, patience, and problem-solving ability.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other essential hygiene tasks.
- Encourage mobility and adherence to prescribed exercise programs, including range-of-motion exercises and walking.
- Assist clients with transfers from bed to chair and reposition them according to their care plans.
- Provide pressure-point care safely and appropriately.
- Prepare meals that meet clients’ specific dietary needs.
- Remind clients to take their medications.
- Provide continence care.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment through housekeeping, laundry, and trash removal.
- Shop for groceries for clients who can drive.
