Home Health Aide or CNA
About The Position
As a Community Care Aide, you will provide compassionate in-home assistance to adults aged 55 and older, helping them maintain independence and live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Duties include personal care, meal preparation and feeding, light housekeeping, and occasional support at the adult day center. The position is located in Homestead, Pennsylvania. Full-time schedules are 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday or noon–8:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. A part-time schedule is 4:00–9:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Casual employees work at least 16 hours per month, including one day every other weekend.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Occasionally support activities in the adult day center.
