About The Position
Join the Managed Services program supporting Airbnb’s Luxe program as a Home Consultant, helping uphold the quality and hospitality standards of luxury homes. The role involves in-person home assessments, documenting property conditions, taking photos, and submitting detailed evaluation reports for the luxury quality review process. Consultations typically take approximately two hours, varying with property size. Work is offered on an as-needed basis; assignment volume may fluctuate and is not guaranteed. Compensation is per assignment. Candidates propose a base rate for reviewing and submitting a report for a one-bedroom home; average regional base rates are generally $75–$90. An additional $5 is added per bedroom, up to the rate for an eight-bedroom property. Consultants also receive daily travel compensation at a predetermined rate based on their distance from the assigned zone’s center, ranging from $5 to $92. Further travel-compensation details and procedures are shared before offers are extended.
Requirements
- Flexible schedule.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to assigned locations.
- Own a phone or tablet suitable for completing reports and uploading photos.
- Amazing communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient written and spoken English.
- Comfortable using technology and able to complete reports with a stable internet connection.
- Located within a one-hour driving distance of the job-post location.
Nice To Haves
- Background in hospitality, customer service, interior design, real estate, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person, onsite home consultations and property evaluations.
- Capture high-quality photos and document property conditions.
- Complete structured assessment reports using provided guidelines and templates and an independent expert evaluation.
- Maintain professional, responsive communication and interactions with Hosts.
- Coordinate scheduling and availability through MediaBox and email.
- Submit reports accurately and on time after each consultation.
