About The Position
Join a program supporting Airbnb’s Luxe program as a Home Consultant, helping uphold the quality and hospitality standards expected of luxury homes in Airbnb’s Luxe offering. As part of the Managed Services program, conduct in-person home assessments, document property conditions, capture photos, and prepare detailed evaluation reports for the luxury quality review process. Consultations typically take approximately two hours, with timing varying according to property size. This project operates on an as-needed basis. Assignment volume may fluctuate and is not guaranteed; activity levels depend on operational demand and market needs. Compensation is paid per assignment, with candidates proposing a base rate for reviewing and submitting a report for a one-bedroom home. Regional average base rates are generally $75–$90 for a one-bedroom property, with an additional $5 for each additional bedroom up to eight bedrooms. Travel compensation is also paid for each assessment day, at a predetermined rate based on the consultant’s distance from the center of their assigned zone. Travel compensation ranges from $5 to $92. Requirements
- Have a flexible schedule.
- Have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to assigned locations.
- Own a phone or tablet that can be used to complete reports and upload photos.
- Have strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Be proficient in written and spoken English.
- Be comfortable with technology and able to complete reports using a stable internet connection.
- Be located within one hour’s driving distance of the job-post location.
Nice To Haves
- Background in hospitality, customer service, interior design, real estate, or a related field; this is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person, onsite home consultations and property evaluations.
- Capture high-quality photos and document property conditions.
- Complete structured assessment reports using independent expert evaluation and provided guidelines and templates.
- Maintain professional, responsive communication and interactions with Hosts.
- Coordinate scheduling and availability through MediaBox and email.
- Submit reports accurately and on time following each consultation.
