Strong Communicators Needed for Airbnb Luxe Home Consultant Project - South Padre Island, US
About The Position
Join a program supporting Airbnb’s Luxe program as a Home Consultant, helping uphold the quality and hospitality standards expected of luxury homes in Airbnb’s Luxe offering. As part of a Managed Services program, you will conduct in-person home assessments, document property conditions, capture photos, and provide detailed evaluation reports for the luxury quality review process. Consultations typically take approximately two hours per home, with timing varying by property size. This project operates on an as-needed basis. Assignment volume may fluctuate and is not guaranteed; activity levels vary with operational demand and market needs. Compensation is per assignment, with candidates proposing a rate for a one-bedroom report. Regional average base rates are generally $75–$90 USD for a one-bedroom property. An additional $5 USD per bedroom is added beyond the first, up to eight bedrooms; homes with more than eight bedrooms are paid at the eight-bedroom rate. Consultants also receive travel compensation for each assessment day, determined by distance from the assessment location. Requirements
- Ability to accommodate consultation appointments based on operational needs.
- Willingness and ability to travel to assigned locations; reliable transportation.
- Own a phone or tablet that can be used to complete reports and upload photos.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Thoroughness, accuracy, and close attention to detail when evaluating properties.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Comfort using digital tools and ability to complete reports with a stable internet connection.
- Located within a one-hour driving distance of the job posting location.
Nice To Haves
- Background in hospitality, customer service, interior design, real estate, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person home consultations and property evaluations.
- Capture high-quality photos and document property conditions.
- Complete structured assessment reports using independent expert evaluation, provided guidelines, and templates.
- Maintain professional, responsive communication and interactions with Hosts.
- Coordinate scheduling and availability through MediaBox and email.
- Submit reports accurately and on time following each consultation.
