About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Life Without Barriers team and continue their mission of empowering people with disability to live life the way they choose. The role involves providing personalized support to QCSS (Queensland Community Support Scheme) clients within their homes on the Sunshine Coast. You will provide supports to people with a disability, illness or mental health condition to maintain their independence and achieve their goals. This is a Permanent Part Time opportunity with working hours available between 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, with no evening or sleepover shifts. The role requires travel to support multiple clients each day from Landsborough to Mountain Creek and out to Nambour. Requirements

  • An Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Excellent organisational skills, hygiene practices and problem-solving abilities
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment)
  • Successful candidates will be required to undertake relevant pre-employment checks to ensure the safety of our clients. This includes a National Criminal History Record Check, QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and an Aged Care Statutory Declaration.
