About The Position

Looking for meaningful work with a schedule that fits your life? Kore Cares is hiring part-time/as needed daytime caregivers in Gettysburg, SD. You tell us the days and daytime hours you are available, and we work to match you with clients who need care during those times. No caregiving experience or CNA certification? That's okay — we provide training! If you are already a CNA or healthcare worker but are looking for a more personal, one-on-one care environment, we would also love to talk with you. Home care gives you the opportunity to build relationships and provide one-on-one care rather than caring for many people at once. Requirements

• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes in the Gettysburg area
• Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification
• Previous healthcare experience

Responsibilities

• Help with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and other personal care
• Assist clients with walking, mobility, and transfers
• Prepare meals and assist with eating when needed
• Provide medication reminders
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide transportation and assist with errands
• Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Complete other tasks identified in the client's individualized care plan
