About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide in-home assistance to our clients in Farmington Hills, MI. You will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life by offering personalized support and care in a respectful and professional manner.
Requirements
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home care or related healthcare field is an asset, but NOT required
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medication reminders and monitor clients’ health conditions as directed
- Help with light housekeeping tasks including laundry and cleaning
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure proper care
- Follow all safety and care procedures to maintain a safe environment
