About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to join our team in Ottawa Lake, MI. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks and assist clients with mobility.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a genuine desire to help others.
- Must be able to pass background checks and comply with state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is an asset, but NOT required.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Support clients with mobility and transferring as needed.
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate records of services provided.
