About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support to clients in Chelsea, Michigan. The role helps improve clients’ quality of life in their own homes by assisting with daily activities and promoting independence and well-being. Workers provide personal care, practical household support, companionship, and emotional support; follow care plans; report changes in clients’ health or behavior; and document care accurately. The company serves individuals and families in Chelsea and surrounding communities with personalized home care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related caregiving roles is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- A valid driver’s license or reliable transportation may be required.
- Willingness to undergo background checks.

Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Offer clients companionship and emotional support, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
- Promptly report changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors.
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals and University Home Care Inc.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
