About The Position

NurseCore is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home patient care when coverage is needed. This is a per diem, as-needed position with no set schedule or guaranteed hours. Available shifts vary according to patient needs and staffing requirements. While some weekday daytime shifts may be available, the primary need is for CNAs who can work a variety of shifts, including weekday overnights and weekend days and overnights.

Requirements

• At least one year of CNA or HHA experience.
• Valid CNA license in the State of Nevada.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current hands-on BLS CPR certification compliant with AHA requirements.
• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Successful background check.

Responsibilities

• Help the patient with morning and evening routines.
• Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks.
• Support patient transfers and mobility, including use of Hoyer lifts.
• Provide personal care and assistance with hygiene.
• Complete occasional errands as needed.
• Remain attentive and available throughout the shift to respond promptly to the patient's needs and requests.
• Assist with additional duties based on patient care needs.
