About The Position

We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Home Care Attendant to help maintain a clean, organized home. The role includes light housekeeping and pet care in a private home. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, loves animals, and is comfortable working independently. Hours may range from 3–4 hour shifts Monday through Friday and may include some Saturdays.

Requirements

Prior experience in housekeeping and pet care.
Comfort with animals of various sizes, ages, and temperaments.
Reliable transportation to and from scheduled shifts.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Trustworthy, punctual, and respectful of client privacy.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Experience with young, senior, or special-needs pets.

Responsibilities

Clean and tidy living areas, the kitchen, bedroom, and bathrooms.
Change bed linens, pillowcases, and towels weekly.
Wash, dry, and fold laundry, bed linens, and towels.
Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum.
Wash dishes, wipe kitchen counters, and organize the kitchen.
Maintain the refrigerator by removing expired items and wiping shelves as needed.
Run occasional errands, such as grocery shopping, if needed.
Feed pets and provide fresh water.
Clean litter boxes and pet waste, including potty pads, and spot-clean pet accidents.
Monitor pet behavior and report concerns.
