About The Position

Independence Home Health LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Aide/CNA to provide hands-on care to patients in their homes in the Bloomington, Indiana area. The role supports patients’ comfort, safety, independence, and quality of life through personal care, mobility assistance, health-status monitoring, meal support, light housekeeping, companionship, and adherence to individualized care plans and home health protocols. The company emphasizes professional medical care while respecting each individual’s freedom and involvement in healthcare decisions. Requirements

Current CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred.
Previous experience in home health, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of patient care, safety procedures, and infection control.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for travel to patient homes.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered demeanor.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a home environment.

Nice To Haves

Current CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to promote safety and comfort.
Monitor and document patient health status and report changes to supervising nursing staff.
Support meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional monitoring.
Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe home environment.
Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
Follow individualized care plans and home health care protocols.
