About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Aids in Lake Angelus, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is an advantage, but NOT required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes is a plus
- Ability to pass background checks
- Compassionate and patient demeanor is a MUST
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help clients with mobility and transferring as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures
