About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aids to provide exceptional in-home care to our clients in Howell, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being in a comfortable home environment.
Requirements
- Ability to pass backgrounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Driver's License or State ID is required for this position.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home health care or a similar role is an asset, but NOT required.
- Reliable transportation to and from clients’ homes is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely within their homes.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ health status as directed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Document care provided and communicate any changes in clients’ conditions to supervising staff.
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and respect in all interactions with clients and their families.
