About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aids to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their homes in Willis, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote independence, comfort, and well-being.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.
- Ability to pass background checks.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home care or related healthcare field is an advantage, but NOT required.
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes in Willis, MI is a plus.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
- Support mobility by assisting clients in moving around their home safely.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to help improve client quality of life.
- Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Follow care plans and safety protocols established by the company and healthcare providers.
