About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aid to provide personalized care and support to our clients in Marine City, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence in the comfort of their own homes.
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the role.
- The ability to pass background checks.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home care or a similar caregiving role is an asset, but NOT required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Help with household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to the supervisory team.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their well-being.
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals and family members.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and client progress.
