About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aids. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This position is based in South Lyon, MI, with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $19.00, paid twice per month. Requirements
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aid or in a related caregiving role is an asset, but NOT required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders and assistance as needed.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Support clients with mobility and transferring to prevent injury.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with clients and their families.
