About The Position

The Holiday Lights Event Host is an entry-level seasonal role at The Ballpark at America First Square, supporting holiday events and delivering a world-class guest experience. The role includes guest experience, crowd management, hosting, corporate partnership support, ticketing assistance, and other stadium operations. Hosts work 2–3 shifts per week, with additional shifts available, from November 20 through January 2. A training shift is expected 1–2 weeks before November 20. The event is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The position pays $16 per hour. Great teammates may have the option to return for gameday and non-gameday events in 2027.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude and provide exceptional customer service.
• Support holiday event operations, including ushering, hospitality services, and general ballpark readiness.
• Assist with events by hosting concourse activities, managing crowds on the field, and managing suite spaces during holiday parties.
• Provide ticketing support, including mobile ticket assistance, answering guest questions, and troubleshooting tickets.
• Support corporate partnership activations, including group hosting, promotions, and client events.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and readiness of public areas, premium spaces, and back-of-house areas as needed.
• Collaborate with full-time staff across departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Represent the Salt Lake Bees and The Ballpark at America First Square as a brand ambassador.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
