About The Position
NORY is seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable Holiday Camp Counselors for its 2026-2027 Holiday Camp season in NYC. NORY operates camps during select school holidays and breaks throughout the year, offering a flexible opportunity for teachers, substitute teachers, college students, teaching artists, afterschool educators, and camp professionals. This role involves leading campers through interactive STEM activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and coordinating dynamic camp activities. The position offers NORY Certification, personal and professional development, and opportunities for rapid advancement. NORY is the premier STEM camp provider in NYC and Boston, aiming to shape future leaders and innovators.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working with children aged 3 to 12.
- Genuine passion for education and child development.
- Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and skills.
- Maintain a positive outlook, always seeking solutions and welcoming constructive feedback to foster personal growth.
- Energetic and fun loving nature.
- Interested in working during at least some school holidays and breaks throughout the year. You do not need to commit to every Holiday Camp.
