Requirements

• Two (2) years experience as a Histopathology Attendant
• Post-secondary Anatomy and Physiology 1
• Grade 12
• Biology 30 class
• Analytical skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Basic - Computer skills
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license, where required

Responsibilities

• Performs dissection and gross description of surgical tissue specimens
• Assists Pathologists with autopsies
• Organizes daily workflow of the gross room
