About The Position

Language Trainers is an international language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ languages in hundreds of cities worldwide. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere. We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes. We are currently looking for a Hindi Teacher for one of our clients in Victoria, Canada. The course is a General, one-to-one format with a total of 30 hours, with sessions lasting two hours. The student is at an Elementary level, aged 25-34, and wishes to be able to speak and understand some Hindi with relatives and friends in India. The schedule is 3 times per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 5:30 pm on weekdays, or any time after 10 am on weekends). The start date is ASAP. Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. This is a freelance, part-time position. We are not able to sponsor visas.

Requirements

Native Hindi speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
Valid work permit/visa.
Live within 30 km of Victoria, Canada (V8W0C8).

Provide earliest possible start date.

Responsibilities

Teach Hindi to a student at an elementary level.
Provide customized language training for work, family, or travel purposes.
Conduct one-to-one sessions.
Adhere to a schedule of 3 times per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 5:30 pm on weekdays, or any time after 10 am on weekends), with potential flexibility.
Travel to the specified location in Victoria, Canada (V8W0C8), or a flexible location within 30 km.
