About The Position

Crunch Fitness is seeking energetic, enthusiastic people who are passionate about health and fitness to join its team. Crunch aims to make exercise fun by combining fitness and entertainment, and its clubs offer cardio and strength equipment, a weight room, locker rooms with showers, tanning booths, HydroMassage beds, and a schedule of signature fitness classes. The role reports to the Group Fitness Manager, General Manager, and Franchise Owner/Operator. The instructor leads safe and effective exercise classes, serves members, and follows applicable club, facility, and employee policies and procedures. The position may be subject to change or alteration at any time. Monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings are held.

Requirements

Maintain a valid CPR certification.
Hold a nationally accredited aerobic certification.
Have experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
Have strong customer service skills.
Have good verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

AFAA, ACE, or NASM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
Understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with the Crunch mission statement.
Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager.
Maintain a professional disposition at all times.
Follow all club and facility policies and procedures.
Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
Attend monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings.
