About The Position

Crunch Fitness is seeking energetic, enthusiastic people passionate about health and fitness to join its team. The instructor teaches exercise classes and is expected to provide safe, effective instruction, maintain required certifications, and follow club and company policies and procedures.

The position reports to the Group Fitness Manager, General Manager, and Franchise Owner/Operator. Duties and requirements may be subject to change or alteration. Monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings are held.

Requirements

• Maintain valid CPR certification.
• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Nationally accredited aerobic certification; AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with the Crunch mission statement.
• Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager.
• Maintain a professional disposition at all times.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
