HIIT Fitness Instructor - Hollywood Boulders
About The Position
Hollywood Boulders is seeking an enthusiastic HIIT Fitness Instructor to lead engaging, high-energy classes at its gym. The instructor will support beginners and participants of all fitness levels with clear instruction, exercise modifications, and an emphasis on proper form, safety, and motivation. Instructors help create a welcoming destination for climbers and fitness enthusiasts. Weekday availability for morning or night classes is preferred. The pay rate is $45 per hour; individual compensation decisions may depend on factors including facility location and type, membership volume, experience, and job or position tenure.
Requirements
- Education or background in kinesiology or body mechanics.
- Experience as a group class instructor.
- Flexibility in teaching styles and modalities.
- Strong understanding of proper form, technique, and safety considerations.
- Availability to reliably teach at scheduled class times.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with a variety of training modalities, such as yoga, Pilates, mobility, or similar disciplines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement safe and effective exercise programs for class participants of all fitness levels.
- Lead group fitness instruction.
- Provide guidance and support to participants to help them achieve their fitness goals.
- Ensure equipment is clean and in good working condition, and alert management to concerns.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and research to continuously improve service quality.
