About The Position

Hollywood Boulders is seeking an enthusiastic Pilates Instructor to lead engaging classes at its newly opened gym. The instructor will support beginners and participants of all fitness levels through clear instruction, exercise modifications, and an emphasis on core strength, flexibility, proper alignment, and safety. Instructors help create a welcoming destination for climbers and fitness enthusiasts.

Weekday availability for morning or night classes is preferred. The pay rate is $45 per hour. Individual compensation decisions may depend on factors including facility location and type, membership volume, experience, and job or position tenure.

Requirements

• Education or background in kinesiology or body mechanics.
• Experience as a group class instructor.
• Flexibility in teaching styles and modalities.
• Strong understanding of proper form, technique, and safety considerations.
• Availability to reliably teach at scheduled class times.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with a variety of training modalities such as yoga, Pilates, mobility, or similar disciplines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement safe and effective exercise programs for class participants of all fitness levels.
• Lead group fitness instruction.
• Provide guidance and support to class participants to help them achieve their fitness goals.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working condition, and alert management to concerns.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and research to continuously improve the quality of service provided.
