About The Position

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to serve the public and contribute to making Ohio's roads safer. This role involves performing a variety of highway maintenance activities, such as flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, and mowing. You will also participate in snow and ice operations to ensure safe travel during winter conditions. Please note that these are examples of the tasks you may be responsible for, and your duties may extend beyond the listed items.

Requirements

• Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions; ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary; 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation of basic equipment.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction.
• Class A or Class B CDL With Tanker Endorsement and no air brake restrictions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must register as a driver in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
