About The Position

This is a permanent, full-time position in Darke County. The selected candidates will serve the public by working to make the roads in Ohio safer. Responsibilities include performing highway maintenance activities such as flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, and mowing. The role also involves performing snow and ice operations. Candidates will attend training to obtain CDL licensure if not already licensed.

Requirements

• Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary.
• Must obtain Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction.
• Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions; ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary.
• 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation of basic equipment.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction.
