About The Position

We are looking for a talented High Volume Flywheels Machining- 3rd shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Jamestown, NY. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Strengthen workplace safety by actively identifying hazards, stopping unsafe work, and promoting a culture where teammates look out for one another. Protect people and the environment through consistent use of PPE, adherence to HSE procedures, and actions that reduce environmental impact. Improve product quality by following standard work, raising concerns early, and supporting inspection activities that prevent defects and reduce cost. Keep production flowing smoothly by performing your assigned tasks reliably, meeting role expectations, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas that enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and overall process performance. Build operational excellence by learning and applying the Cummins Operating System (COS) and adapting to changing manufacturing needs. Strengthen team performance through clear communication, collaboration, and helping peers maintain consistent process execution. Grow the organization’s capability by completing required training, developing your skills, and participating in initiatives that improve employee development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • Minimal or no work experience required.
