Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a motivated intern to support its Hydrogen & Electrochemistry team. INL conducts high-temperature electrochemical research on solid oxide electrolysis and fuel cell devices, systems, and integrated commercial equipment. The intern may assist with electrochemical testing, system design and validation, system testing, and materials characterization. The role is suited to a student interested in solid oxide technology, ideally with hands-on experience designing, manufacturing, or testing solid oxide devices for electricity or hydrogen production, or experience with experimental systems, fluid and thermal flow, electrical instrumentation, or data processing. The team works onsite at the Idaho Falls campus on a 9x80 schedule. The internship start date and duration vary based on the project and the student's availability. This is a multi-level internship; placement depends on degree field and education level.
