About The Position

At Alstom, the High-Speed Rail Mechanical Support Technician contributes to the design, maintenance, and optimization of high-speed rail systems. The role focuses on precision, reliability, teamwork, safety, performance, and innovation, working alongside engineering and operations professionals to support rail transportation systems.

The technician supports mechanical-system scalability through continuous improvement and predictive maintenance, helps resolve technical challenges across teams, and maintains the reliability of high-speed train components. The role also contributes to new mechanical testing methods and digital maintenance solutions and shares technical knowledge and best practices across maintenance and engineering teams.

Success is measured by on-time delivery of maintenance and support tasks, effective collaboration and contribution to team performance and safety, and reductions in mechanical failures and improvements in system uptime through proactive maintenance.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and ERP systems.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and brake systems in rail or heavy industry.
• Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and condition-based monitoring techniques.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to support cross-discipline problem-solving.
