Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Valid California Single Subject Credential
EL Authorization
Basic proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
Basic proficiency in virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Chat)
AB 2534 Verification
Background Clearance

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary academic partner for a caseload of high school students, designing personalized four-year graduation plans.
Monitor student progress and support students and families in navigating the CVA HS academy model.
Teach synchronous live classes.
Oversee asynchronous flex courses.
Maintain consistent pacing, feedback, and grading across assigned courses.
Support CVA High School's blended model of live instruction, flex-paced coursework, and community-based learning.
