About The Position

Teachers On Demand is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic High School Substitute Teachers in Holly Springs, North Carolina, for the 2026–2027 school year. Substitute teachers maintain a seamless educational experience during teacher absences by delivering provided lesson plans, supporting students, and working with school staff. Assignments take place in high school classroom settings, with campus service scheduled according to school needs. The role requires availability to work three days each week at the high school campus.

Teachers On Demand provides interim and permanent staffing for K–12 schools and districts, working with more than 200 educational institutions. The company offers flexible schedules, professional development, training, customized school solutions, and hands-on management support. Pay is listed as $15.00 per hour for short-term degreed assignments, $16.25 per hour for long-term degreed and short-term certified assignments, and $17.50 per hour for long-term certified assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution.
• Two to three years of recent experience working with children in a K–12 educational setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in high school environments.
• Availability to work three days each week at the high school campus.
• Commitment to providing high-quality instruction and fostering a positive learning experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by classroom teachers.
