About The Position

Teachers On Demand is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic K-8 Substitute Teachers in Charlotte, North Carolina, for the 2026–2027 school year. Substitute Teachers maintain a seamless educational experience for students during regular teachers’ absences and work in a variety of classroom settings. The role is a W-2 employee position paying $20.00 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited United States institution in a related field.
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom environments.
Commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning experience for all students.

Responsibilities

Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular classroom teacher.
