About The Position

Vanguard Classical School is seeking a High School Science Teacher to teach within a rigorous program grounded in the Core Knowledge Curriculum Sequence and taught in the classical style. The teacher will help students develop academically and personally in a supportive environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and student voice. The school’s values include Honor, Achievement, World Citizenship, and Kindness. Classes are held four days a week, allowing for greater flexibility and collaboration among staff. The school serves students with disabilities and English Learners and provides services as required by state and federal law. Employment is contingent on completing the required criminal background clearance process. Employees are also required to protect confidential and proprietary school and student information during and after employment.
