Cook’s High School Equivalency Program lets participants earn an Indiana High School Equivalency Diploma while working part time. Participants work approximately 28 hours per week and attend approximately 10 hours of classes weekly to prepare for the HiSET. The preparation classes are provided by an Adult Education Center and last approximately seven weeks. Cook pays for hours worked, attended class time, and the HiSET test. After passing the HiSET and demonstrating success in the part-time role, participants will be offered a full-time position in Production, Quality Control, or Packaging. Cook provides 401(k) and quarterly bonus benefits during part-time employment.
