About The Position

United Protective Services is expanding its team and looking for a dedicated High Rise Flex Security Officer in the West Houston 77024 area who is ready to handle a dynamic and changing schedule. This position is ideal for security professionals who are comfortable working in high-rise commercial environments, enjoy stepping into different assignments, and can quickly adapt to the needs of each property. This is an As Needed position.

Requirements

Must be available for at least two (2) of the following three shifts: Day, Evening, and Overnight.
Overnight availability is required.
Open weekend availability is required.
Must be flexible and willing to accept assignments at different properties within the West Houston area.
1+ years of security experience preferred.
Active Texas Level II or Level III Security License.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Able to adjust quickly to new environments, assignments, and responsibilities.
Reliable, punctual, and consistently professional in appearance and conduct.
Able to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.

Nice To Haves

High-rise, commercial, corporate, or Class A property security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Accept and fulfill shift assignments as operational needs change.
Maintain a professional and visible security presence.
Conduct interior and exterior patrols as required.
Address issues or disturbances with professionalism and sound judgment.
Assist tenants, visitors, staff, and property management while providing a high level of customer service.
Document incidents and daily activities accurately and thoroughly.
Follow site-specific post orders, policies, and procedures.
Maintain communication with supervisors and management.
Keep all issued equipment in proper working condition.
