About The Position

United Protective Services is hiring dependable, professional On-Call Flex Security Officers to provide coverage at multiple client locations in College Station, TX, and Bremond, TX. This is an on-call, as-needed position — NOT a full-time position. Flex Officers are contacted when coverage is needed due to employee call-outs, approved time-off requests, and other staffing needs. Work is not guaranteed, and hours will vary based on operational requirements. Applicants MUST be able to travel to BOTH College Station and Bremond, TX. Candidates who cannot reliably travel to both locations will not be considered. As an On-Call Flex Security Officer, you will provide security coverage at multiple client sites, including a solar energy facility in Bremond and various locations throughout College Station. This role is best suited for individuals who have flexible schedules, reliable transportation, and the ability to respond when coverage is needed. Officers must be comfortable working at different locations and adapting to site-specific procedures and expectations. Assignments may include access control, monitoring entrances and exits, observing and reporting suspicious activity, conducting patrols, and completing accurate incident reports.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Level II Security Officer License or the ability to obtain one.
• Must be able to travel to BOTH College Station, TX, and Bremond, TX.
• Reliable transportation to and from all assigned locations.
• Flexible availability for varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to accept assignments based on operational needs.
• Professional appearance and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide security coverage at assigned client locations when called upon.
• Travel between College Station and Bremond, TX, as required.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated security areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, security concerns, and safety hazards.
• Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports.
• Follow all client-specific procedures, post orders and company policies.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and fellow officers.
• Adapt quickly to different assignments, schedules, and site requirements.
