As a Security Officer High Rise in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of utility operations areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observed hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.
