About The Position

Urbana Place, a Lifespark Senior Living Community in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, is hiring caregivers to support residents in its 103-unit, apartment-style community, which provides Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Caregivers provide direct care to residents of all genders, recognize individual needs, encourage independence, and treat residents with respect and dignity. They assist with activities of daily living and personal care according to each resident’s plan of care, engage residents in meaningful conversations, provide attentive care, and assist with medication administration. Available shifts are part-time mornings, 7 a.m.–3 p.m., and full-time evenings, 3 p.m.–11 p.m.; every other weekend is included. HHA wages are $17–$22 per hour and CNA wages are $19–$24 per hour, depending on experience. Shift differentials are $1 for evenings and $2 for overnights.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to residents of all genders, recognizing individual needs and encouraging independence while treating each resident with respect and dignity.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, mobility, and other personal care needs described in the plan of care.
Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
Assist with medication administration.
