About The Position

Right at Home Des Moines is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our growing team. Requirements

Valid driver's license
Reliable vehicle with proof of auto insurance
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Dependable, professional, and compassionate demeanor
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to providing exceptional care and supporting client independence

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support
Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
Provide medication reminders and support with daily routines
Perform delegated care tasks as directed
Offer companionship and meaningful engagement activities
Accompany or transport clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team
Maintain accurate documentation and follow all agency policies and procedures
