About The Position

Hemodialysis Trainee is the entry-level position for the role of Hemodialysis Technician. The trainee initiates, monitors, and discontinues outpatient hemodialysis treatments under the supervision of an RN and, during the orientation period, a preceptor. The employee has 18 months from the hire date to pass the National Hemodialysis Technician Certification Exam. Scheduling and payment of the exam are the employee’s responsibility.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Pass the National Hemodialysis Technician Certification Exam within 18 months from hire date.

• Prior health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities
