About The Position
The Hemodialysis Trainee is an entry-level position for the role of Hemodialysis Technician. Under the supervision of an RN and, during the orientation period, a preceptor, the trainee initiates, monitors, and discontinues outpatient hemodialysis treatments. The employee must pass the National Hemodialysis Technician Certification Exam within 18 months of the hire date. Scheduling and payment of the exam are the employee’s responsibility.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Pass the National Hemodialysis Technician Certification Exam within 18 months of hire; the employee is responsible for scheduling and paying for the exam.

- Prior health care experience preferred.
