Requirements
- Associates degree of nursing.
- Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Possess and maintain a current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) / Advanced Life Support (ALS).
- Minimum of one year of Oncology or Bone Marrow Transplant experience.
- Demonstrate completion of an Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) approved didactic chemotherapy (training and clinical competency).
- Skill in setting up, operating and monitoring specialized medical equipment such as cardiac monitoring devices, EKG units, oxygen analyzers, nebulizers, and other unit specific equipment.
- Cath Lab requires telemetry experience and passing the BAMC Cardiac Telemetry Test (annually).
