About The Position
This position provides professional nursing care to patients in varying states of health and illness through the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care. The oncology primary nurse is an essential member of the patient's care team. The role involves care coordination, telephone triage, patient education, and preparing patients for continuing care during and following care transitions.
