About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Hematology & Oncology Physician covering outpatient services in Medford & Antigo, WI. The role involves clinical duties only, with a focus on consultations, follow-ups, and treatment oversight for an average of 15-16 patients per day. The coverage period is from November 09, 2026, ongoing, with a schedule of 2 days per week, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. This coverage is due to a long-term permanent search vacancy. The facility utilizes Epic EMR and is supported by 5 RNs and 1 PA.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Active WI or IMLC License
- BLS Certification
- Hospital Privileges Required
Responsibilities
- Perform outpatient consultations for new hematology/oncology referrals.
- Manage follow-up visits for established patients.
- Oversee chemotherapy and other infusion treatments.
- Collaborate with tertiary care providers for inpatient referrals.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Epic EMR.
