About The Position
Seeking a Hematology & Oncology Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Pendleton, OR. This role involves providing direct outpatient hematology/oncology care, serving as the chemotherapy program director/provider, performing bone marrow biopsies, managing patient consultations (1-3 per week), and handling an average daily patient volume of 15-18 patients. The coverage period is ongoing starting January 1, 2027, with a shift schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM, one week per month. The reason for coverage is provider retirement. The facility utilizes ECW (eClinicalWorks) and Meditech EMR systems and has Hemo-trained ARNP and nurses available for support. The credentialing timeline is 30 days.
Requirements
- Board Certified Medical Oncology or Board Eligible (0-5 years)
- Active Oregon license required; Universal License (IMLC) accepted
- Active DEA certification required (during credentialing)
- BLS required
